My name is
Ioannis Loukis,
a photographer who specializes in interior and architectural
photography.
Personally I find CVs boring yet very important. I prefer my work to speak for itself but if I had to write something about myself, it would be that I really love to collaborate with interesting personalities and creators.

For me, working with someone is more than just a collaboration, it’s a friendship, it’s being able to understand needs and mindsets. I see myself as the intermediary who grasps your intention and turns it into reality.
Photography is a way to show and share with the rest of the world a project, an idea, a perspective, something that will link the brand with the client. It’s not just taking pictures, it’s a way of creating feelings, emotions and communication.
I feel honoured to be able to collaborate and work with people who want to share what they do and how.
I'm a photographer who specialises in Interior and Architectural Photography.
Now based in Athens, I grew up on the Greek island of Paros in the Cyclades. I studied Applied Photography at the Leica Academy in Athens, continuing my creative studies at the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts on Paros. I elected to study Architectural and Commercial Photography, Fashion and Portrait Photography, Darkroom Techniques and Digital Image Editing, informing my subsequent career as a professional photographer.
My work has been published in signature architecture and photography magazines including BEST OF HOUSES, DOMES, ELLINIKES KATASKEVES, KTIRIO, ILI&KTIRIO, PHOTONET, PAROLA MAGAZINE, THE GREEK FOUNDATION, DESIGN BOOM.
My experience has taught me that patience and observation are everything: waiting for precisely the right moment, watching for the perfect light to give expression to the all-important mood. Meticulous composition and attention to detail combined with passion and energy ensure that the end result is not just satisfactory but exhilaratingly inspired.
The power of photography emerges as a collaborative effort between photographer and client, an emotive journey through the space recorded and the people in it.
Please feel free to contact me with your project and ideas. I’ll be more than happy to hear from you.
